  Picked up 2 orders of Pozole this afternoon.....Was REALLY good! All the condiments were fresh. The cashier was very polite and the cook/chef was awesome! I always enjoy the service here....even when they are super busy! Another family favorite is the wet burrito.

  At first glance Taqueria Maguey can be a bit plebian. A taqueria with fluorescent lighting. Regular tables and chairs. Laminated photos on the wall with prices and menu items. OK, so what makes it different from any other taqueria out there?
  
  What keeps us coming back to this place again and again? THE SPECIALS.
  
  IT'S ALL ABOUT THE SPECIALS, BABY! TRULY.
  
  ~ TACO TUESDAYS on WEDNESDAYS! & FRIDAYS. Really. They offer some of the most rockin' specials at a taqueria I have ever seen. And so very well priced. I'm going to be awesome enough to tell you about the....
  
  ~ ESPECIALS!
  ~ MONDAY - BUY 1 REGULAR BURRITO, GET THE 2nd FREE! Yes, you read that right.
  
  ~ TUESDAY - Posale for $5.50
  
  ~ WEDNESDAY - TACOS FOR .75 CENTS! Oh em gee.
  
  ~ THURSDAY - 2 MEXICAN ENCHILADAS COMBO for $5.00!! This one is MY FAVE! Generous portion and satisfying meal with CHIPS! I'm sad when I come here when it's not Thursdays 'cause I don't want to miss out on this Especial!
  
  ~ FRIDAY - TACOS .75 cents! Yes, I know, could Fridays get any better?
  
  So admittedly, it may not be the most absolute deliciousness of taquerias - that's a matter of personal taste. So many taquerias out there. But is the food good? Pretty good. But the specials - the ESPECIALS! - are what keeps this place ON POINT and having people coming back here again & again. Friendly service, usually by the nice, lovely girl at the front counter. Orders made right. Served quickly. Spanish TV playing news or sports.
  
  And don't forget the CHIPS & SALSA BAR. If you spend at least $3.00 you get FREE CHIPS & SALSA! Several different types of salsa. So what's not to love about that? The carb-avoidant side of me still cannot manage to avoid these chips, so what the heck, I will have the chips...'cause life is short! And the specials are fantastic here at Taqueria Maguey, so pick one of those Especial days I mentioned up there & check this place out!
  
  Oh, and I gotta add this tip...TRY THE HUEVOS RANCHEROS! When I want a good vegetarian meal, I have this! With beans, rice, excellently cooked eggs, and red & green bell peppers - a healthy, satisfying meal! :)

  Best tacos.. hands down. A co worker order some tacos from here and OMG amazing. I asked her to bring me Al Pastor. The meat was amazingly soft and well marinated. If could give this place more stars.. I would.

  Hidden gem! Ran into this place after doing a quick search for a taqueria in the area on the way out of town. SO glad we stopped here! Small little shop in a middle eastern shopping center. Immediately we knew it would be good, they had a salsa bar! We looked at the menu ($6.50 burritos, come on!) and then noticed the weekly specials. That day just happened to be .75 cents tacos! Seriously cannot beat this place or their prices. Healthy portions of food, fast and friendly service. If I'm passing by here again, I am definitely stopping!

  We've eaten here twice this week. The 75 cent tacos won us over. Everything is delicious and fresh. Their salsa bar is amazing. They also have great burritos.
